Again a before picture from the sales literature
On examining the room I discovered that in one corner there did not appear to be any wall behind the wallpaper. Rather a large crack was discovered when taking the wallpaper off. This room will be tackled and the page updated when I have the surveyors report as to how to proceed!
Oh that crack just got worse and worse. I had the surveyor back as he had given the house a clean bill of health from subsidence. I finally got his updated report 4 weeks later and so could finally start proper work on this room. The crack was filled with resin. Lots and lots of resin. Then re-papered and finally painted.
And here it is finally furnished, curtains up and pictures on the walls. What a difference.
